Itsmyfood LLC, and any successor entity (referred as Itsmyfood, We, Our or Us) offers a variety of content, information, data, calculations, analysis, visuals, references, estimations, diet plans, and services through the Itsmyfood Website and App. (collectively the Services).

BY USING OUR SERVICES, YOU AGREE WITH THE COLLECTION, USE STORE, AND TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IN THE UNITED STATES AS DESCRIBED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY.

In order to comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this Privacy Policy outlines the legal bases on which We process your Personal Data and provides other information required by the GDPR.

1 What We collect and how We use them

We do not need and request, your name, where you live, your birthdate, your gender. For your security and for Us to give you Service you need to create an account and log in by using Our Servers,

You need your email address and a password to create your account. We store your Email and Encrypted password. If available and if you choose to connect Us with social logins, We also store only your email.

We will use this email address to notify you important changes. We may also use this email address to promote Our Services. If you would like you can opt-out of Our Offer mails under My profile > privacy & account.

When you read and agree Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, We collect the date that you agree for legal needs. We store your latest login date. We also store your device operating system in order to Our Back Up Tools works perfectly in your devices.

If you buy a subscription the transaction takes place between the App Markets and you. We store digital receipts and subscription validity periods.

When you scan a food product it sends the scanned barcode number to Our Servers.

In your profile, you may add your name, photos, etc. You may also add your weight, food consumption, progress photos, etc. All these user data is stored within your device and not shared, uploaded, or stored in Our Servers or any third parties.

EXCEPTIONS:

Our subscribed users have access to Our BackUp Service. With this Service you can create a back up all your data except your photos and you can upload it to Our Servers.

Your backup file is stored in an encrypted form. Our employers or third parties that We are working with Us can not read your data.

2 Our security measures

Access to Our database by employees is limited. Only authorized employees have access to Our data. We are not giving authorization to any third parties to access Our data.

Your data is stored in an encrypted form in Our servers. Authorized employees can only see the userÂ’s email, operating system, and access/registration dates stored for legal purposes.

We value your trust and We are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. We store minimum data and we encrypt them where we can. But none of the transmissions over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and therefore we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

3 Sharing your data

We are not selling or sharing your data to third parties for marketing. We may work with service providers to provide Services on Our behalf. These third parties may have access to Our Data to perform the tasks assigned to them on Our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

We may need to comply with Legal Requirements for public safety and may share your personal data with government law enforcement agencies, in order to comply court orders, to assist in an investigation, to prevent crime.

4 Advertising and Marketing

In Our App there may be sponsored contents, or adds.

We may contact you for advertising Our Products. If you do not want to hear about our promotion or offers you can opt-out under “My profile > Privacy & account”.

5 Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal data stored on Our Servers. You can do it anytime under the App by selecting My profile > privacy & account.

You have the right to receive the Personal Data stored in Our Servers, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and you have the right to transmit that information to another controller. You can do it as we describe above. Please note that, if you use Our Backup Service, your personal data is encrypted on Our servers with different keys for your privacy. This is a security measure that we are proud of, and We cannot read this data. So we cannot supply your backup file in a machine-readable format.

You have the right to correct your personal data. However, we are not storing any other than email and dates and these cannot be changed due to identifying your account. You cannot change your email since it is a primary ID that We use to identify Our users. You are free to create a new account and delete the old one if you would like.

You have the right to delete your account and information stored on Our Servers. You can do it anytime under the App. Go to the “Privacy & account” screen accessible under “Profile”. When you delete your account your files and information is gone forever. We cannot retrieve it back so decide carefully. 

6 Tracking Your Activities

We do not track your activities. We do not use cookies.

Itsmyfood is a food, weight, progress tracking App, however all your data, logs are stored on your device. There are few exceptions and they are described under 1 What we collect and how we use them.

We do not track so we are not responding do not track (DNT) signals.

7 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
